Thai Chicken Tacos Recipe Instructions
This recipe only has a few steps to it, so you can make it easily and quickly.
Thai Chicken Tacos Ingredients
- street taco tortillas
- frozen chicken
- sugar
- sesame oil
- sriracha sauce
- soy sauce
Optional Toppings - shredded coleslaw
- shredded Mexican cheese
- mango salsa
Step 1: Cook Chicken
Dump the whole bag of chicken into a pan and cook at medium heat for about 15 minutes.
Step 2: Make the Sauce
While the chicken is cooking, you can make the Thai sauce.
Mix the sesame oil, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and sugar in a small bowl and set aside.
This will make a little more than is necessary, but you can add more to your tacos if you would like.
This sauce is spicy, so you don’t want to add too much!
Step 3: Add the Sauce
After your chicken has cooked for about 15 minutes, you can add 1/2 cup of the Thai sauce to your chicken.
Cook for a couple more minutes before serving.
Step 4: Serve the Thai Chicken Tacos
I usually use street taco sized tortillas for this dish. You could use small tortillas as well.
Street tacos are smaller than normal taco sized tortillas. Instead of two tortillas per serving, you can eat 3 street tacos easily because they are so small.
Besides the chicken, you can add extra sauce if you would like it spicier.
I usually top my tacos with mango salsa because I like the sweetness of it, and it offsets the spiciness of it a little.
You can also add shredded coleslaw and shredded Mexican cheese.

Excellent! I made pineapple salsa with it instead.
Can the prepared chicken be frozen?
