Do you enjoy playing the board game Scattergories? I absolutely love playing Scattergories! We have an older version of the game with one refill box of cards that has extra category lists. Even though we have so many Scattergories lists to choose from, there are certain topics that I would love to have. We decided to create some of our own category lists to play with and thought that other people might like to play with them too.

Scattergories Lists Downloading Instructions
All you need to do is visit the resource library and click on the printable games picture. You can click on the Scattergories Lists shortcut or scroll down until you find them. When you click on the lists, they will open up in a new tab in your internet browser. You can then download them to your computer.
Scattergories Lists Printing Instructions
Because we have an older version of the game, we set up the cards to look like the old cards that have two lists on a side. You can print these lists double-sided to make three total cards or you can print them single-sided to make six total cards.
If you have a newer version of the game, you can cut them to fit your game.
Scattergories comes with six copies of each list so that six people or teams can play the game. If you want to make it so six people can play, you will want to print six copies of all the cards.
I would recommend printing on 8.5″ x 11″ white card stock.
The cards for the older game were 5 1/16″ by 7 1/16″ with rounded corners. I have added cutting marks on the printables, so that you can cut them to the correct size.
Rounding the corners is an option. You can cut them by hand or use a corner rounder.
If you have a newer version of the game, you will have to look at your game to see exactly how big the list cards are.
The lists are black and white, so you do not need color ink to print these.

Creative ideas!! Thank you for the lists. Can you do lists on different holidays?
Jackie, Thank you so much! We have a few different lists that contain holidays in “card set 3” in our resource library. There’s one that’s all Christmas, one that’s Halloween & Fall, and then one that’s special occasions. Was there something specific you were thinking of when it comes to holidays?
Where can I find and download the Star Wars and the Harry Potter Scattergories cards? I see them in the image montage but not in the printables download. Thanks.
Hello Jean,
In the resource library when you go to the Scattergories list section, you will want to download Card Set 1 which has both a Harry Potter list and a Star Wars list as well as a bunch of others.
Having the same problem as everyone else. How on earth do I print the scattogories catergories??!!

Where do I find my password?
Did you already sign up for our resource library?
I have signed up but I can’t remember the password so I can get the Scattegories Freebies.
Hi Jae, I just sent you an email with the password.

This set up is awful I just keep getting direct to the same section, this area, but never to the download of this list. When I go to the direct library i can not find it in there. 🙁
Hello Mandee,
So sorry you are having trouble accessing our Scattergories lists. After you type in the password for the resource library, choose the “printable games” section. You can scroll down or click the “Scattergories Lists” button and it will scroll down to that section. Click the image for the lists you want. We currently have two different sets we’ve created with 16 categories each. When you click on the image from your computer, the lists will open up as a PDF in a new tab.
Please let me know if you still need assistance.
