Raspberry Smoothie Ingredients
- old fashioned oats
- Truvia brown sugar blend (sugar substitute)
- vanilla extract
- frozen banana
- milk (I used 1%, but you can use whatever kind you want)
- Greek yogurt*
- frozen raspberries
*You can use plain, raspberry, or vanilla Greek yogurt in this recipe
Tools I Use
These are the things I use every time I make a smoothie.
Blender
When I make smoothies, I like to use my Comfee single serve blender.
It works really well, and I like that it came with 2 bottles that I can use for my smoothies.
Measuring Cups
I also always use these nesting doll measuring cups.
They are great because they include cup sizes like 3/4 cup and 2/3 cup that normal sets don’t include.
Raspberry Smoothie Instructions
You can blend the ingredients however you like, but I usually blend certain ingredients together first.
Step 1: Blend oatmeal, vanilla, Truvia, milk, & frozen banana
I usually mix these five ingredients first because I like to make sure that the frozen banana is completely blended before adding the frozen raspberries.
You do not make the oats before hand; you just mix them in dry.
Â
Step 2: Add yogurt & raspberries
Add your frozen raspberries and Greek yogurt and finish blending.
Step 3: Serve!
This smoothie will be pretty thick when you serve it.
If you want it a little thinner, you could refrigerate it for a little while or use fresh raspberries.
