It’s almost Christmas time. What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than to watch Christmas movies? This movie has been one of our favorites for quite a few years now. It’s funny, romantic, and an overall great family Christmas movie.
Here is a brief synopsis: Jennifer is a scrooge when it comes to Christmas. Her son has a hard time believing in Christmas until Uncle Ralph comes for a visit with Morgan, a passenger he met on the plane, and they try to win over Jennifer.

#2 — Once Upon a Christmas Miracle
Starring: Aimee Teegarden & Brett Dalton
We watched this movie for the first time last year and absolutely loved it! It’s romantic and heart-warming.
Based on a true story, this movie is about a young lady who needs a liver transplant around Christmas time and the support she receives.

#3 — Dashing Through the Snow
Starring: Andrew Walker & Meghan Ory
This is a cute and fun Hallmark movie featuring a long car ride and a puppy. Like most Hallmark movies featuring Andrew Walker, we really enjoy watching it!
Based on a Debbie Macomber novel, this movie tells the story of Ashley and Dash trying to get to Seattle. They meet at the airport when both try to get the last rental car and end up sharing it.

#4 — A Christmas to Remember
Starring: Mia Sorvino & Cameron Mathison
We’ve watched this movie many times over the last couple years. It has lovable characters and a feel-good story.
In this movie, a TV personality drives to a small town for a break and crashes her car. She ends up with amnesia and a passerby takes her in.

#5 — Christmas Next Door
Starring: Jesse Metcalfe & Fiona Gubelmann
The characters in this movie have great banter which makes this a fun Christmas movie to watch.
This movie is about a single author who is left in charge of his niece and nephew for the holidays. He turns to his neighbor who loves Christmas for help.

#6 — The Nine Lives of Christmas
Starring: Brandon Routh & Kimberly Sustad
As pet lovers, this movie caught our eye because it features cats! This romantic movie has great characters and a romantic storyline.
In this movie, Zack is a bachelor who doesn’t want responsibilities, but he sees his life change when he adopts a stray cat. His new pet brings him into contact with Marilee, and he begins to realize single life isn’t all he thought it was.

#7 — Miracle on 34th Street
Starring: Edmund Gwenn, Maureen O’Hara, & Natalie Wood
The 1994 version is okay, but we love the 1947 version of this movie best. The original movie was in black and white, but there is also a colorized version of it as well. This timeless classic is great for the whole family!
In this movie, a department store Santa claims to be the real Santa Claus, and a young, single mom and her daughter struggle to believe.

#8 — Elf
Starring: Will Ferrell, James Caan, & Zooey Deschanel
This Christmas movie has been one of our favorites for years because it’s funny and memorable.
A quick synopsis: Buddy is an orphan raised by elves but notices he is different when he grows up. He sets out to find his real father who lives in New York City.

This classic Christmas special is great for the whole family!
