Pico de Gallo Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 container grape tomatoes* (diced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 small onion (diced)
  • 1/8 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)

Instructions

  • Dice the tomatoes and place in a bowl.
  • Dice the onion into small pieces and add it to the tomatoes.
  • Add the spices and hot sauce and stir.
  • Chop the cilantro and add it.
  • Serve with chips, or top it on your favorite dish!

Notes

*Other tomatoes will work as well for this recipe. Grape tomatoes work the best because they have a lot more skin compared to insides, but you could use any type of tomato.
