Ingredients
1poundhamburger or lean ground beef
1smallonion(chopped)
14.5ouncescan of petite diced tomatoes
8ouncescan of tomato sauce
3tablespoonschili powder
2canscans of chili beans(15.5 ounces each)
1 clovegarlic(optional)
Instructions
Peel and dice a small onion and place it in a large pot.
Next, add the hamburger to the pot and brown the meat with the onion on medium heat. If you are adding the optional garlic, cook it with the onion and hamburger.
After the meat has browned, drain the grease from it.
Next, add the rest of the ingredients. Continue to cook on medium heat until the chili starts to bubble. When it starts to bubble, reduce the heat to simmer. Stir it and simmer for 20-30 minutes.
Serve hot and top with crackers, cheese, or any other toppings you would like to add.
