Where to buy cheap books online

There are so many places to buy books online, but they don’t all sell affordable books. I have found a few different websites that sell cheap books that are used and new.

Book Outlet

Book Outlet sells new books that have been returned to publishers and marked down significantly in price.

I recently bought 16 new books for less than $40 total from Book Outlet.

They constantly add new books to their site. You can create a wish list of books you want to buy, and Book Outlet will notify you when they get those books in.

You can get $5 off your first order of $25 or more on Book Outlet when you use my link.

eBay

There are a lot of things you can buy on eBay including books. You can purchase both used and new books on eBay.

One way to get a great deal on eBay is to buy a group of books from someone. When you buy a group of books instead of a single book, you will typically get a better price per book.

One of the best places to find cheap used books is to shop at garage sales.

You can often find lots of nice books for less than $1, and sometimes, they can be in like-new condition.

Thrift Stores

You can find a lot of different types of used books at thrift stores. Sometimes you can find books in really nice condition for a decent price.

Most cities have quite a few different thrift stores that get new items on a daily basis.

Library Sales

Some libraries have book sales year around. I have found some very nice books at library sales.

The books at library sales are usually a mix of ex-library books and books that were donated to the library.

Used Book Stores

You can find lots of great books at used books stores. Not only will you find great deals on books, but you will also be supporting your local small businesses.

Used book stores are typically a little more expensive than thrift stores, but still not a lot of money.

Churches and schools sometimes have rummage sales to raise money. This is a great opportunity for you to find some great deals on books.

Lots of different people donate books to rummage sales, so you can find a variety of books there.

  1. I can attest to the thrift stores!! Most of my books are from thrift stores and about 6 months ago a thrift store near me had a huge sale: 25 cents per books! I got over 20 books for less than 7 bucks 🤩
