Shish Kabob Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef, pork, or chicken (uncooked)
  • 14 ounces Kielbasa or smoked sausage
  • 1 large onion (or 2 small ones)
  • 2 bell peppers (your choice of color)
  • 1 large apple (cut into chunks)
  • 1 package fresh button mushrooms

Instructions

  • If you plan to marinate a meat, make sure you do this first.
  • Heat oven to 350°F or prepare grill.
  • Cut up ingredients into pieces that will fit well on your skewers without falling off.
  • Put ingredients onto skewers and place skewers on cookie sheet if cooking in the oven.
  • Cook shish kabobs for 20 to 30 minutes depending on your ingredients. It is most important that the meat gets cooked completely.
  • While cooking shish kabobs, make rice (instant or regular).
  • Serve shish kabobs on rice.
