Carolina Pulled Pork Crock Pot Recipe
This pulled pork crock pot recipe is easy to make and a great southern treat!

- 1/2 cup stick butter or margarine (1 stick)
- 2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 6 tablespoons dark brown sugar (packed)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 1/2 pounds pork (can be pork roast, boneless pork ribs, or boneless pork chops)
Melt butter first in microwave or on stove top. Pour into the crock pot.
Add the vinegar, sugar, and spices to the crock pot and stir.
Trim the fat from the pork and add it to the crock pot.
Cook it for 5 hours or until tender on high heat. Flip over meat every hour if possible.
Shred it easily with a fork and serve by itself or on buns.
