Do you love peanut butter? I sure do! Every year for my birthday, I always ask to have this easy no-bake peanut butter pie instead of cake. It is my favorite dessert of all time, and I can’t believe how easy it is to make!
If you have a sweet tooth like me, then you will love this pie! It only has 5 ingredients, and you don’t have to cook anything 🙂

- 4 ounces Cool Whip
- 1 Pie Crust
How to make this easy no-bake peanut butter pie
When I make this recipe, I usually double it and make two pies. The pictures below show what a double batch of pies looks like.
Step 1: Mix the filling
Mix the cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar in a bowl. I don’t have a mixer, so I just use a spoon and sometimes my hands to mix. It is quite thick, so it will take a little muscle power to mix it up.
I usually mix the cream cheese and peanut butter together first. Then, I mix 1 cup of powdered sugar into the mix at a time.
I used my KitchenAid mixing bowl because it is sturdy and great for making this recipe 🙂
Step 2: Place filling into pie crust
After you have mixed up the filling, you can carefully stick it into the pie crust. You can use any pre-made pie crust. My favorite crust is Oreo, but you could also use graham cracker or chocolate.
Be careful when you spoon the mixture into the pie crust because you don’t want to crack the crust.
Step 3: Spread the whipped topping
After you have put the filling in the crust, you just need to spread the Cool Whip on top. I use store brand whipped topping unless Cool Whip is on sale. I usually use the light version, but you can use regular if you would like.
Step 4: Refrigerate
After you have spread the whipped topping on, you should place the pie in the refrigerator for a couple hours. This helps it set up a little bit better. It still tastes good if you eat it before it is set up all the way, but it won’t be quite as thick in texture.
That’s it! You are ready to serve.
