My parents bought me a membership when I learned to drive. The main reasons were in case I needed my car towed, my battery jump started, or if I locked my keys inside my car.

There are many benefits and savings with a AAA membership.
Over the years, I have used the towing and battery-jumping a few times, but I have also gotten countless free maps, TripTiks (your entire trip mapped out for you with easy to flip pages), and “things to do” state books.
I have almost always used the hotel discounts when I have stayed in a hotel.
Recently, I saved over $150 on a rental car. I went on the rental car site and then went to AAA’s rental car site. The same rental place had slashed off over $150 for a van on AAA’s site that was regular price on their site.
There are so many other things that you can use your card to get discounts on. This past week, we saved 10% off our zoo tickets.

What is a AAA Membership?
AAA has three levels of membership. There are classic, plus, and premier membership levels available.
All three memberships provide you with roadside assistance. Besides providing you with safety, security, savings, and peace of mind, AAA also has hundreds of discounts available to its members.

How much do I have to spend to save money on everyday life?
Becoming a AAA member is very reasonable.
I make back all of the money that I spend for the membership every year because it literally saves me so much money!
It is so easy to make back the cost of one year’s membership with just one purchase. When I got a rental car for our last vacation, it saved me double what the cost of my membership was.
The classic membership is $52 a year and comes with great benefits.
I have the plus membership which is $87 a year. It comes with even better roadside benefits.
The highest membership you can get is the premier membership for $117 a year. It has even better roadside benefits such as Vehicle Return, Home Lockout Service, 24-Hour Concierge Service, 24-Hour Emergency and Medical Services, One-Day Free Car Rental (with qualifying tow), & Coverage for Other Types of Vehicles (like RVs and Motorcycles).
Plus, if you refer a friend to AAA, you get $20 towards your next renewal!
