We share ideas on how to spend less money and ways to make additional money. Our site also includes tutorials on how to create things when you’re on a budget. We like to make it easy for you to find resources to save money. You will find reviews of products and places, so that you know what is worth spending money on.

We are here to help those who want to save money or earn some extra money. As well as those who like to be creative and crafty. Whether you are new to the idea of being thrifty, have been doing this your whole life, or somewhere in between, we can help you!

For those who are new to the thrifty lifestyle, we offer lots of advice and ideas on ways to start saving money. You will soon be on your way to spending less and still enjoying life!

Hi, I’m Janie Myers.

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.Philippians 4:12

This verse sums up my life and why I’m writing this blog. I’ve had to find ways to live without a lot of money. Even at times when my family has been better off, I have continued my thrifty ways.

I love Jesus and spending time with my family.

Jessica

Hello! I am Jessica Myers, daughter of Janie. I absolutely love saving money and finding thrifty ways of doing things. One of my favorite things is finding a treasure at a garage sale or resale shop. I have a passion for organizing and creating items that help others stay organized. Recently, I graduated from college with an education degree. I love using my teaching skills to help others learn new things that can benefit their lives! For a little over 3 years, I had a job in a workroom at my university. Through that job, I got to use my creative side while helping people at the same time.

Jesus is also very important to me, and I try my best to honor Him with my life. My favorite Bible verse is Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” I love this verse because it reminds me that God is always there for me and that I just need to trust Him.
